Our health is essential to our overall quality of life. But for many, the potential to live a healthy life is limited by a multitude of factors, including where they live, how much money they make, and access to health care, including mental health providers.
At United Way of Northern Arizona, we believe everyone deserves the opportunity to live their healthiest life. That’s why we’re working with our partners and funding initiatives to address food insecurity, youth mental health, and more.
Here’s what we’ve been able to do, together:
- Providing meal delivery to dozens of seniors in Springerville.
- Distributing more than 8 million pounds of food through local food banks.
- Helping families avoid eviction through legal assistance and rental assistance.
- Provided access to mental health services to more than 200 youth, including one-on-one or group counseling addressing addiction, trauma, and suicide prevention.
